Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist or Massage Therapist?
No, you do not need a referral from a Medical Doctor to see one of our registered therapists.
Are your services covered by health insurance/extended benefits?
Physiotherapy, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Registered Massage Therapy, and Intramuscular Stimulation are commonly included in extended health plans. It is recommended to review your benefits package with your insurance provider as coverage varies between providers. The Medical Service Plan of BC (MSP) does provide some coverage for those who qualify for Premium Assistance. More information can be found here.

Do you offer direct billing to extended health plans?
At this time we do not offer direct billing to extended health plans. We will provide you a receipt upon payment with the appropriate details to submit to your extended health provider.

Please bring your ICBC file number, date of the accident, BC Care Card, any referrals from your doctor, and your file handler’s name and number to your first session.
