Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need a referral to see a Physiotherapist, Massage Therapist, or TCMP/Acupuncturist?
No, you do not need a referral from a Medical Doctor to see one of our registered therapists.
Are your services covered by health insurance/extended benefits?
Physiotherapy, Pelvic Floor Physiotherapy, Clinical Pilates, Registered Massage Therapy, Registered TCM/Acupuncture and Intramuscular Stimulation are commonly included in extended health plans. Exercise Therapy may be included in new health and wellness plans from some employers. It is recommended to review your benefits package with your insurance provider as coverage varies between providers. The Medical Service Plan of BC (MSP) does provide some coverage for those who qualify for Premium Assistance. More information can be found here.
What should I bring to my appointment?

- referral notes from your doctor or other healthcare practitioners
- any diagnostic testing (ie. x-ray, MRI, CT Scan) results relevant to your area of assessment
- Please arrive promptly to your scheduled appointment. Arriving 10 minutes early for your first session will give you time to fill out our intake forms.

Do you offer direct billing to extended health plans?
At this time we do not offer direct billing to extended health plans. We will provide you a receipt upon payment with the appropriate details to submit to your extended health provider.
