Maddison graduated from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia with a Bachelor of Health Science and Bachelor of Applied Science (Osteopathy) and has completed further training as a Pilates Instructor through the Australian Physiotherapy and Pilates Institute.
Maddison was drawn to osteopathy through a longstanding interest in the human body and helping others be well. She is passionate about working in osteopathy due to the holistic approach it takes to each individual client. She endeavours to listen attentively as clients share their experience and works with them to determine the best approach to take for their health. She truly believes in the innate healing capabilities of the human body and uses osteopathic principles and techniques to prompt the body’s healing mechanisms. Maddison believes healing involves more than just treating the site of pain and will assess each client holistically to determine which areas may require treatment.
Maddison enjoys working with all clients but has a particular interest in treating pre- and post-natal complaints, chronic pain clients, and paediatric clients. She uses a combination of osteopathic treatment techniques, client education, and self-management strategies with her clients.
Maddison enjoys spending time at the beach, hiking, camping, and exploring new places.
